Adjustable Diamond Reamer Usage Description
Here’s a guide on how to use the adjustable diamond reaper.
- The first step is to reassemble the rough reamer on the powerhead. To keep the handle from its tightness when being used, start by adjusting the front and read nuts on the cutter. This will extend 1/3 of the cutter body into the valve holes, so you can rotate the valve body using your hand.
- Open the footswitch and push the valve body forward in an even direction by holding it with both hands.
- When 2/3 of the cutter body passes through the valve hole and it eventually returns, there may be some sort of issue. If the handle is getting tighter, there is an issue with the squeak. If the open reaming amount is quite large, then try to adjust the reamer size to a smaller size. If your handle feels loose, then reaming amount should be increased until suitable quality is achieved. Take note: the operator’s control of the handle has certain resistance and is very uniform during the pushing process.
- try not to reciprocate the reaming process many times because it will affect the accuracy and the diameter of the hole. The reaming only needs to be done back and forth.
- Inspect the reamed valve holes if it is qualified and in their appropriate size. After that, a batch of valve holes can now be completed. With this, take turns with middle reaming and fine reaming. Take note: the adjustment method in this process is the same with coarse reaming.
- Go on with the reaming process. If the batch size is not that large, use two reamers only. The same amount is used for coarse reaming. One is used for the rough reaming process, and another is used for the medium of fine reaming after size adjustment is done.
Stationary Diamond Reamer
